On February 9th through February 11th, a team of talented actors from the London stage (Sarah Finigan, Roger May, Jasmeen James, Jack Whitam, and William Donaldson,) performed Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare at Berea College’s Jelkyl Theatre.
This was their 7th visit to the College. Their previous performance at Berea College includes Hamlet, Othello, King Lear, and Much Ado about Nothing. The actors of London Stage are currently on a Spring Tour.
Professor Shan Ayers, the current Chair of Theatre Department said, “Having the professional actors perform and visit with our students about the theatre business, giving professional feedback on their various works, has been beneficial to the growth of individual students.”
These actors will also be visiting Valparaiso University, Vanderbilt University, St. Ambrose University,  and University of Houston.
