Hannah Rogers)Hannah Rogers:“In my school newspaper, I would like to see more recent and pressing stories that people want to read. By recent stories I mean something that happened within the past 1-2 weeks, not what happened a month ago because, chances are most people forgot about it. As far as pressing stories are concerned, I hope to see articles that are intriguing and engaging. Involve the students as a whole, not just a pocket of those who read the paper. Make people want to read the paper. I am not an avid reader of the school newspaper but I’d like the paper to be something that I want to read – something that makes me feel like I’m missing out by not reading.”

NestorNestor Aviles: “What I would like to see in the school newspaper is the amount of activities we do around campus. I would like to see our surroundings, and be informed of all the things that Berea has to offer. To show what we have, but at the same time that we value what we have. Somehow, to be more open to the world out there.”

PatrickPatrick Vinson: “If I were to read the school newspaper I would like to see more Health and Wellness things advertised. Not just sports but other things. Like recreational opportunities. How to eat healthy on a college budget, and just opportunities related to that on campus or helpful tidbits of knowledge.”

sStephen Soares: “I think a Ned’s Declassified student survival guide for Berea and/or a cartoon strip would be brilliant.”

Rick HollandRick Holland: “Naturally from any newspaper I would want news on things that have been happening or what will happen soon. That is my interest, other people may want comedy strips or something of that sort, though.” Steal Picture from Fb. Lab coat pic

nNana Boateng:  Use pic she sent me. “I would like to see a humorist column in the newspaper that is kind of like an ask Grandma Jones type of thing. Or have an editor’s notes/thoughts  column that are lighthearted like they do in the back of the Atlantic.

Carmellia JacksonCarmellia Jackson: “I would like to see comic strips, suggested movies/ books to read, and maybe fun facts. I would also like to see things that just apply to Berea, such as internship opportunities, or senior spotlights.”

Olivia SIzemore Question of the weekOlivia Sizemore: “Maybe more information about upcoming events. Hard to say, maybe something with student responses to world events–something to break the Berea bubble.”
